The Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer is the undisputed "king of the range". A flagship adventure motorcycle designed for riders who refuse to choose between transcontinental comfort and legitimate on-road capability.

Triumph has focused on "smooth and smart," refining the T-Plane triple for better low-speed manners and introducing tech that makes the bike's massive stature more manageable.

Built for the Long Haul, the "Explorer" designation means you get the massive 30-litre fuel tank, extending your range to approx 370 miles.

Engine: The 1160cc engine produces 148 HP & 130 Nm of torque ensuring a beautiful power delivery weather you are cruising the motorway or tackling a continental mountain pass. It has been updated with a reworked crankshaft, alternator, and balancer to increase inertia which results in a smoother power delivery at low revs.

Features: Active Preload Reduction, By holding the 'Home' button, the bike electronically lowers its rear suspension by up to 20mm as you slow down, making sure every rider has confidence in those horrible off camber stops. A redesigned flatter rider seat provides more room to move, while dampened handlebars and risers (previously exclusive to the Explorer) are now standard across the Tiger range to further kill vibration.
