Just arrived in at Powerslide Derby is this stunning Ducati Monster 1200 r.

At the heart of the Monster 1200 R is Ducati’s 1,198cc Testastretta 11° L-twin engine, producing exhilarating performance with a strong spread of torque and an addictive V-twin character. The R specification takes the Monster to another level, with a higher-performance engine tune, lightweight chassis components and upgraded suspension and braking equipment. Full termi exhaust with race map.

Standard specification includes Öhlins fully adjustable suspension, Brembo M50 monobloc radial brake callipers, twin 330mm front discs and a lightweight forged aluminium rear wheel. The bike also benefits from Ducati Riding Modes, Ducati Traction Control, ABS and Ride-by-Wire, allowing the rider to tailor the motorcycles response and electronic assistance to suit different riding conditions.

The Monster 1200 Rs distinctive styling is complemented by a compact trellis frame, single-sided swingarm and exposed mechanical detailing, giving it the aggressive presence expected from Ducatis R-badged performance models.

This particular example is further enhanced with a Termignoni exhaust system, adding to the already impressive soundtrack and giving the bike an even more purposeful appearance. It is also fitted with an Öhlins steering damper, providing additional control and stability when riding enthusiastically.

With its relatively low mileage for its age, exceptional R-specification equipment and desirable upgrades, this Monster 1200 R presents a fantastic opportunity to own one of Ducati’s most exciting and characterful naked performance motorcycles.

A genuinely special machine with superb performance, premium Öhlins and Brembo equipment, and the unmistakable Ducati character that makes the Monster 1200 R such a sought-after motorcycle.
